Challenge

DSV operates internationally with a large number of daily processes across multiple departments. Within the HR department, employees and departments submit different types of service requests, each requiring specific information to be provided.

Before this initiative, HR requests were handled manually. This resulted in incomplete submissions, limited follow up and control, slower service delivery, and increased back and forth communication between requesters and HR. The manual approach made it difficult to track request status and actions taken, which delayed service fulfillment.

The HR department needed a structured way to collect required information, track requests, and speed up service delivery for employees worldwide.

Solution

Since 2023, TopNotch Technology supported the DSV HR department in its digital transformation journey by analyzing existing processes, identifying gaps, and redesigning them into a structured digital solution.

A single application called the HR Services Portal was developed to serve all employees within DSV. The portal centralized three main HR services: recruitment requests, training requests, and letters requests.

The application guided users to provide all required information at the time of submission. Requests were systemized into clear workflows, allowing HR to review, process, and act on requests more efficiently. The solution also enabled employees to track the status of their requests and receive notification emails at each stage of the process.
