Ayla is a 4.3 million sqm inspirational waterfront destination committed to environmental sustainability by protecting the integrity of its marine and wildlife, recycling its water resources and harnessing solar energy for power.
Artistically sculpted out of the Red Sea Coast of Aqaba, Ayla adds 17 kilometres of waterfront living to the Aqaba coastline.

Projects Overview:
Since 2024, TopNotch Technology played a major role in directing Ayla in their Digital Transformation journey by automating their internal processes and creating a powerful application to serve their business needs. We led the journey from analysing their current processes, finding the failing points, and systemizing the output to an automated process, and user-friendly applications.
Background
One of Ayla’s Security Guard Duties is to Record visitors Information when passing one of Ayla’s Gates for auditing and security purposes.
Recording the Visitors information was entered manually in a paper and then to be reflected to Excel Sheets, which will cause some problems in monitoring and control, and may cause either wrong entries or losing of the paper where the information is documented. Furthermore, the hard work that Ayla’s Management will perform in order to analyse the information from paper records.
Based on those difficulties and problem, Ayla’s management with cooperation with TopNotch found that having a solution to automate the process of Recording Visitors information is an essential Requirement to be provided.

Using the Admin Application enabling Ayla’s Security Management to Set the restrictions on the gates, as well as, configuring the gates through the admin application, and those restrictions and the configurations will be reflected immediately to the Visitors Entry App. which will save the time since no need to inform each security guard about the new roles or the restrictions.
On the other Hand, the application will collect the information that will help the decision-makers in the analysis and planning for future goals.
Ayla Security Guards Admin App
To manage Gates related configuration which will be presented in the Security Guards (Visitors Entry) App.
Configuring the gates includes gates Names, Related destinations where a particular gate will lead to, allowed visitors to enter those destinations, the time schedule on when the destination is allowed to be visited, required Security Measures to allow the visitors to enter the Gates, and some Required questions for the visitors to be asked by the Guards.
Also, through Admin Application, Admins can create new questions, Security measures, Gates, Destinations, and Visitor types.
Reports are collecting the data from the visitors records which will be fed by the Security Guard (Visitors Entry) App.
Business Benefits
Using the Visitors Entry Application will reduce the time of recording Visitors information and they will not wait longer to pass the gate.
Also, entering the information almost will be buttons pressing, and in some cases entering a text will not consume more time.
Ayla Security Guard (Visitors Entry) Application
to Record the entry process of each visitor wants to enter any of Ayla’s Destinations, the users of this application are the security Guards on each gate.
In this Application, Entering the Records will be through Tablets either by touching buttons or the keypad of the tablet.
This Applications is using offline mode, it will download the Database to be used if a disconnection in the internet is occurred to prevent any interruption in the visitors entry.
The entry process will be controlled and managed by the admin application by configuring each gate and its related definitions (Visitor Types, Questions, Destinations… etc.), so, whatever settings have been configured on the Admin App, they will be presented in the Guards Visitors entry app.
